SECTION 3 HAZARDOUS IDENTIFICATION
Skin Contact May cause irritation. This product can be heated at high temperatures and skin burns are possible. Ingestion No hazards are related to an accidental ingestion of this product Eye Contact Could cause irritations. Rinse with running water for at least 15-20 minutes. If symptoms persist, acquire medical assistance Inhalation This product could cause damage if heated and produced mist. Irritations to mucous membrane can be caused by fine vapors, dizziness or nausea. Breathe fresh air
SECTION 4 FIRST AID MEASURES
Skin Contact Wash the infected part of the body with soap and water Eye Contact In case of contact, flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes using an eyewash fountain, if available. Get medical attention if irritation occurs. Inhalation Evacuate from the exposition zone, see medical support if symptoms persist Ingestion Avoid ingestion. If swallowed do not induce vomiting. Drink 2 glasses of water. B100 is 10 times less toxic than table salt.
SECTION 5 FIRE MEASURES
Flammability Flash point (method used): >130 ˚C (ASTM D93) Extinguishing methods: Foam, Co2, water and dry chemical product. Water burst can splash the fire surface and extend the fire. Special Procedures for fire: The environment at risk should be sprayed with water. Unusual Fire & Explosion Hazards: Soaked rags may cause a spontaneous combustion if not handled with care. Before disposal, you should wash rags with soap and water, let dry in well ventilated area. Fire fighters should use an air tester to avoid exposure to mist or vapors.
SECTION 6 ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Leak and Spill Procedures Take away from any flammable sources(if possible), Contain the spill, control the leak if possible. Clean up with absorbent pads & oil sponge. Wash any hard surface with detergent to remove all oily residues. B100 is 4 times more biodegradable than petroleum. Waste Disposal Only an approved company can pick up waste, and then shipped to an approved landfill. Conform to federal, provincial and municipal laws.
SECTION 7 HANDLING AND STORAGE
Handling Procedure & Storing Store in a closed tank between 50˚F and 120˚F. Keep away from oxidant agents, excessive heat and flame sources. Store and use in ventilated area. Do not store or use near a heat source. Do not pierce, pull or slide the barrel. The barrel is not a pressure vessel, never use pressure to empty it.
